How many times NEET will be conducted in 2019?

NEET 2019 exam will be conducted on 5thmay’2019 in an offline mode.

  • English

What are the minimum marks required for admission in a MBBS college?

  • 50%- General Category

  • 40%- Reserved Category

The above percentage is required to qualify NEET 2019, but if a candidate scores higher percentage, he/she can get admission in the top medical colleges of India of their choice.

What is the minimum percentage required for appearing in NEET 2019?

  • The candidate must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually. The minimum percentage required is 50 %, 40 %( SC/ST/OBC) and 45 %( candidates specified under the Rights of Person with Disabilities), taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Bio/Biotechnology.

What is the age limit to be eligible for NEET 2019?

  • The upper age limit of NEET 2019 is 25yrs, as on the date of examination. 5yrs of relaxation for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category and persons under the Right of Persons with Disabilities.

What all documents are required to be carried along on the day of NEET 2019 exam?

  • Candidates are required to bring the following documents and will be disqualified if not carrying the documents.

Print copy of admit card downloaded from NTA’s site.

One passport size document (same as uploaded on the application form)

Any one of the authorized photo ID (must be original, non-expired and valid). Pan Card, Driving license, Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, Ration Card, any other.

PWD certificate issued by the competent authority, if claiming relaxation under PwD.


Will NEET 2019 have negative marking?

  • Yes, NEET 2019 will have negative marking. One mark will be deducted for every wrong answer from the total score.


Will there be provision of reevaluation/ rechecking of NEET 2019 answer sheet?

  • No, there will be no provision for reevaluation/ rechecking of answer sheet.
